We will make genuinely sustainable fashion a reality, one step at a time, one choice at a time.

Starting our sustainability journey with samurai prologue

Made To Order:

All our garments are entirely made to order to avoid stockpiling and wastage of resources. Once you place an order for a samurai, we initiate the process of procuring fabrics and stitching the garment which is then hand packed with care to be delivered to you.

Recycled Packaging:

Our packaging bags are made of old sarees and bedsheets we wish to recycle and can be reused by you once you receive your samurai garment. We also use address stickers to avoid usage of plastic tape.

Hand Stitched Labels & No Tags:

All samurai labels are hand embroidered and stitched on to each garment to generate more employment and to further reduce the usage of synthetic materials. In lieu of garment tags, each samurai piece is delivered with a garment care guide printed on handmade paper, convertible into bookmarks for you to use!

A focussed direction for our sustainability journey.

With the success of our pilot collection, we wish to be able to:

Hire two female tailors and support their livelihoods completely.

Switch to fabrics and materials that are made in India.

Increase usage of non-cotton natural fabrics.

Aid the realisation of UN SDG’s in every day life through awareness & education.

Its our determination to accomplish these by 2024

Our Commitment Towards 2030

To curb oversupply of clothing with fewer collections and functional designs.

To completely close the loop towards 2030, ensuring samurai garments have no pollutant impact when made, used or disposed.

To improve the quality of life of all our partners and aid progress in the regions we source raw materials from, samurai aims to have complete backward and forward integration in its supply chain by 2030.
